Ephesians 4 is one of the more powerful verses in the New Testament. This morning, I read it again as part of my morning study. i was struck by the notes in my Renovare Study Bible and wanted to share:
Spiritual Formation is largely dependent on our capacity to live a called life. Calling presupposes a God who graciously speaks (doctrine of revelation) and a people who willingly listen (doctrine of sanctification). The spiritually formed do not need to cast about for a purpose in life. It is given to them as a gift!
If you wish to find purpose, listen to a God who still speaks to us today. Listen to a God who has a purpose for you and has gifted you to fulfill it. Blessings on that journey.
