God's Faint Path: wilderness lessons on leadership and life, is told in story form illustrating the lessons learned in a narrative of life. In our first edition printing, we crafted a chapter book. Each chapter is embedded with the questions I was wrestling with in that stage of life. The questions are printed on the left side pages, which are left for your journaling. The right pages contain the text of the chapter.
These inspirations come from my son-in-law Kevin Byrd, who is an artist, a designer, and self-described font nerd. So, take a chapter to the park and sit on a bench. Read and reflect. Journal your answers to the questions, and by the time you finish chapter 12, you will have written your own story. Buy the book here.
Then Kevin suggested we publish each chapter in a pocket-size notebook. That way, the readers can journal their responses to the questions in each chapter.
A paper band holds the book together. We will be creating a box to hold the book as well.
Read a chapter a month. Give yourself time to reflect and imagine, that you might find a sense of calling and craft a vision of a life well lived.
Take it to the woods, meditate on God's creation. Listen to God. Read a little, journal your thoughts.
Each chapter has a theme, linked to the illustration.
John 10:10. "I came to give life, and to give it abundantly."
This first edition showcases the interactive nature of this book. Kevin Byrd designed the book. He suggested I write out the questions I was wrestling with at each chapter of life.
The book is printed on the right pages. Questions along with space to journal make up the left pages. By the time you finish the twelve chapters you will have journaled your life as well.
